Sharing Toolkits

Updated: Nov 15

Maximizing the reach of your content is paramount to an effective organic digital strategy. That’s why SoSha offers a variety of ways to share your toolkits with your networks.

This page will cover instructions and guidelines on how to share your toolkit to reach the greatest audience possible.

SOCIAL MEDIA TOOLKIT LANDING PAGE

The toolkit landing page is the primary way content is shared with audiences as links to the page can be shared across platforms and can be shared via social media posts, email, and more.

Here are the steps to take to successfully customize and deploy your toolkit’s landing page:

1. Customize Your Toolkit Landing Page to Maximize Engagement

We know making sure your toolkit reflects your organization’s branding and style is essential. By navigating to the “Appearance” tab in your toolkit’s dashboard, you can customize the landing page’s banner using Markdown language (here’s a handy guide that makes this easy), and add a welcome message with a clear call to action.

2. Publish Your Toolkit + Navigate to Your Live Toolkit

Make sure to finish adding the posts and other details you want in your toolkit before sharing. But don't worry, you can always make changes to your toolkit and posts even after you publish and start sharing. When you’re ready, navigate to the “Settings” tab, and click “Publish” to make your toolkit live.

You can view your customized, published toolkit by hitting the “Go to Live Toolkit” button in the dashboard menu. A new webpage will open which will host your toolkit with your drafted posts.

3. Share Your Toolkit Landing Page URL

Share the landing page URL with your networks by posting it in your usual messaging, allowing them to access your toolkit posts.

A few other suggested ways to best share your social toolkit's URL include social media posts, WhatsApp, email communications, website copy, and more.

One of the most effective ways to drive shares is to include toolkit posts directly in your follow-up messages after users take an action on your website.

EMAIL EMBEDDING

SoSha toolkits are 100% email embeddable. Embedding your toolkit into email campaigns and recurring newsletters is an effective, easy way to maximize your messaging's reach.

Here are the steps you can take to incorporate your SoSha toolkit into emails:

  1. Click on the three dots next to a post and select ‘Email Embedding.’

  2. Choose your preferred social platform.

  3. Change your preferences, including button color (using color codes) and button caption.

  4. Copy the code on the bottom of the page, and implement it in any email CRM.

  5. Alternatively, select up to two posts, then click the three dots in the action menu and choose ‘Email Embedding.’ Then follow the same steps.

WEBSITE EMBEDDING

One of the best ways to promote audience engagement with your content online is to embed a SoSha toolkit directly onto your website.

Keeping audiences interested and engaged with your content online is a constant challenge. We make it easier by providing embeddable SoSha toolkits you can seamlessly incorporate into any of your online content, from blog articles to donation pages.

Here are the steps you can take to incorporate your SoSha toolkit into your website pages:

  1. Select the “Embedding” tab in your toolkit dashboard.

  2. From here you can customize a variety of different elements of your embeddable toolkit, including:

    • Pixel Height & Zoom to legibility

    • Post Background, Text, & Icon Color for better brand continuity

    • Options to include menu buttons and sliders

  3. After reviewing the preview, copy the necessary code and paste directly into whatever website builder you utilize to host your web pages.
